After spending fifteen years in the manufacturing world optimizing the supply chain of multinational companies and living in different countries (Mexico, Germany, and the USA), Maribel Reyna found herself not living to her fullest.
The pandemic came, and just like a lightning flash makes you blind and illuminates at the same time, the crisis opened her eyes in many ways. The loss of loved ones and the deterioration of her health made her question what the purpose of her life was. She soon recognized that the six years she had spent teaching languages, prior to her commercial career, were moments of intense joy, creativity, and inspiration.
As she reconnected with her passion for teaching languages, she also realized that building a language school was one of her childhood dreams. That dream evolved into the mission of empowering language learners to contribute to the world in more than one way. That mission required a company.
A company that would advocate for linguistic diversity and would promote mistakes and foreign accents as acts of bravery.
A company that would focus on making progress in a foreign language rather than the fallacy of speaking perfectly like a native speaker.
A company with an engaging platform, that would maintain on one side, a state-of-the-art technology, and on the other, a substantial level of human interaction.
A company that would embrace a community of courageous language learners dedicated to bridge the gap between fear and success.

Maribel believes that each of us has extraordinary capabilities. We are all here for a reason. There is a voice inside us that knows this and calls us to step out of our comfort zone into a great language adventure. It challenges our beliefs to make us see all we can do with all we have been given.
